Waiting for Clifton at the end of the Colorado half marathon, full winter gear, enduring a mix of rain, sleet and snow.
Good thing he runs so fast.
It didn't stop the kids from getting their free smoothies at the end of the race.
Because on mother's day, Mama gets to pick the pandora station.
Annika's been asking for a pet snake. I told her if she wanted a pet snake, she should go and catch one.
So she did.
We are kindof wildly in love with Jess and her family.
Because sometimes you need a helmet that tells the world just who you are.
Just your typical May soccer game... Wearing a winter coat under your jersey.
At Mile High Stadium picking up Clifton's race packet. I told the kids this is probably the only way they'd see the inside of the stadium.
So here they are, pretending they are at a game.
So apparently the girls were serious about this snake thing and chipped into buy this guy. His name is (nearly headless) Nick. We're reading a lot of Harry Potter these days.
And why not just get two while we're at it? The other snake is Peeves. I love the contrast of this photo--in many ways our girls are "all girl." And in others, not at all.
Finishing up the Colfax Half.
Drag a kid out of bed at 6am, make her walk a mile to the finish and wait in the cold for Daddy to run by? Sarah will let you know how she feels about it.
The weather was finally bearable for the last game of the season for Annika and Clifton.
And then there was the ballet recital for Annika...
...and Naomi
This is what you get when you say, "I don't know. Do something ballet-ish."
Oh, man. Every now and then we get glimpses of awesome.
The night before kindergarten graduation Annika lost her first tooth. She's been working on it and working on it. Probably because someone (*cough* me) told her she couldn't graduate without losing a tooth.
The look on her face says it all. She loved her teacher, and so did we.
With Rosie, her best bud.
The idea of a kindergarten graduation (actually, they called it a "continuation" ceremony) is ridiculous and awesome at the same time. And I may have gotten choked up when they played "You are my sunshine" during the slideshow.
So, first of all, juggling? How have we not seen this? Secondly, I love that she is known for being funny.
Naomi with her school besties Mac and Clare.
This is Wingasaurus, what happens when you let the cute little chicks you hatch in your classroom keep growing.
Welcome to summer! Swimming with the Parsons!

What is with you Minks and SNAKES!! Now who do I stay with this Christmas break?!
We have clips on the lid so they can't get out, unlike my snake as a kid that was free in our house for a few months... We'll make sure your room is snake-free.
