Just some girls and their dog, walking around the lake. Colorado, you don't suck.
After the wettest spring in recent history, April finally dried out enough to play some soccer.
Annika (who is apparently half the size of that opponent) really loved this season. She had an amazing coach who was more about playing hard and developing new skills than winning games.
She learned a lot this season. What she lacks in skill she makes up for in hustle.
What Sarah lacks in skill she makes up for in brute force.
Please note her sassy 80's side knot that at least half of the time turns her soccer jersey into a midriff shirt.
Best kindergarten teacher ever. Who voluntarily spends their Saturday mornings with kids that aren't even their own?
Maybe we should work on that sitting thing. This is as good as we get.
Okay, so let's talk district art shows. (Side note: caterpillar example of how Sarah always makes "cute eyes")
All three kids were selected to display their work in the art show.
Which pretty much means every kid in the district made the art show. Am I right?
Easter morning calls for some curls.
Quick family pic before church
With our friends for Easter dinner...
...where we still aren't too old for easter egg hunts with our bestie
Annika and Asher being Annika and Asher
...and Sarah and T-money looking for their loot
Poor Luna. The girls thought she'd be cute with bunny ear clips.
April brought with it the spring performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream -- Naomi's off to the far left
...where she rocked it as a pixie
And I love this photo that I snuck from backstage of her in the Courtier Corps.
Pixies taking it easy in between their parts.
Naomi was thrilled that Amelia came to watch her performance.
And you know what I needed late April? More snow. And a dog that enjoys a good 6am walk to force me to enjoy the quiet beauty. Of snow. In April. Enough already.
