We drove to the top of Mt Evans, so I've officially done my first 14'er (one of 50+ mountains in CO that reach 14,000 feet elevation). It was strange to go from 40 degrees at the top (7 degrees with windchill!) back down to 88 degrees at home. Also crazy was how quickly it went from blue and beautiful to sleet. Definitely recommend this drive to all our CO friends (or anyone visiting us in CO!)
