Naomi drew this unicorn saying, "Be mi hero dad." And that, my friends, is how you melt a Daddy's heart. It ranks right up there with walking them down the aisle.
You know, May 2nd. Why not?
Guess we'll have to play inside today.
Booo.
But by May 4th it was warm enough to be outside in sundresses...
...or pajamas...
...making snowballs. Because they can.
Aunt Sara and Uncle Gary came for a quick visit.
Sarah meeting her Great Aunt Sara
Naomi and Aunt Sara share a love of owls. "And Aunt Lori," Naomi is quick to remind me.
Annika loves any shape of cookie!
The girls had fun and hope it won't be long until the next visit.
Happy girl. Long lashes. Must be a Railsback trait.
Sarah and her friend Avery
Sarah's an eating machine. This kid weighs at six months very close to what Naomi weighed at one year.
What? Six months? Must be time for photos with Big Baby!
There she is.
Getting a beat down from Sarah.

Re: "Be mi hero dad." I think what she means is "Mommy saves lives. All you do is run. Can't you find something a bit more heroic? Running away doesn't solve anything. You have to face those bullies."
Also, the wife wants me to point out that Weston also writes backwards sometimes. As did Da Vinci. And the Unabomber, probably.
um, that's pretty awesome. i'll be sure to pass your thoughts along to c-note. i knew i was better off for not being a runner.
is westy a lefty? i'm told that is why naomi writes backwards in mirror images. think of the cute left-handed kids they'd have!
What a special visit with all of you! Love the pictures, too.
Nope, decidedly normal. But maybe it skips a generation, like the sugar diabetes.
