Week Seventeen

Group pictures are just getting harder and harder.

This is how we do church when it's in the middle of a snowstorm.

.
...and this is how we do sledding afterwards! Clifton's not posing as a father who can't believe how big his kids are getting; he's on the phone.

It's much more fun for us now that Naomi can haul herself and her sled up and down the hill this year. Annika needs a little help with he steep part.

Our kids seem to prefer not being able to see well when they are flying down a hill...

...it must add something to the excitement.

Sarah even came down for one run at the end of the afternoon. At the bottom, she giggled.

We've had a few ballet lessons in our house lately. Naomi teaches...

...and Annika does whatever she wants.

On my day off, we built a snowman. Our girls have two big disadvantages: 1. Mom is from Florida and didn't learn snowman making as a child. 2. We live in Colorado, where everything is dry, including our snow. It's like making a snowball out of powdered sugar.

But here's the finished product. The kids said it was too bright to look at me. Maybe I should've given them the sunglasses instead of the snowman.

In some places in our lawn Annika was thigh deep in snow.

Annika using her Minnie camera to document family life in our house...

...like this.

Checking on her work.

Celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with a birthday party at the library.

Sometimes they even play well together.

Just found this one on the camera so I'm not sure what's going on here, but I think I like it.

A little anniversary weekend walk along Boulder Creek after a deliciously heavy brunch.

Look at this big girl...

Loves her play gym

Celebrating Timothy's first birthday!

With yummy cupcakes...

And the birthday boy!

Great pictures! Your girls are so beautiful. And I need to take more pictures of me and Jesse. Somehow all the ones I have are from college where we look like we're 12.
Good job with the snowman. Were you wearing your Birkenstocks?

That one snarling picture of Nomes is classic. That needs framed.
